The ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region organised one day Awareness Progamme on Scientific Pig Farming on 30th March, 2026 under AICRP on Pig. A total of 40 pig farmers attended the programme. They were briefed about scientific feeding practices for different categories of pig, different feed ingredients for preparation of balanced pig ration, daily feed requirement for different category of pigs and also made aware regarding biosecurity measures in the pig farm. During this event, 4000 kg of pig feed is distributed among the beneficiary farmers to ensure proper growth and productivity of pigs. The progarmme was attended by Dr Dr Sourabh Deori (Senior Scientist & PI), Dr Samir Das (Senior Scientist & Co-PI) along with other technical and supporting staff.
